We couldn’t hope to list all
of the events in one go, but keep coming
back and we will try to keep you up to date
with the unbelievable list of events each
year in and around Haworth.
The image to the left
shows Haworth's famous Forties Weekend in
the Spring which attracts thousands of people,
and a few invaders.
Some events are always
there. The Parsonage Museum, the station
with its magical steam railway, an assortment
of shops which is the envy of any city in
the UK, the uniqueness which makes Haworth
a place that a couple of generations forgot.
Walk on real flags, cobbles, see cottages
built from real Yorkshire stone and, more
importantly, meet real people who are happy
to see you serve you and welcome you back
year after year.
That’s to say
nothing of the fact that we are on the edge
of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, the
cities of Bradford and Leeds. We don’t
even mind if you stray into Lancashire which
is only minutes away! |
